Hi, I’m Barb Svoboda, owner and lead designer of Barb’s Backyard Blooms. I’ve always loved spending time in my vegetable & flower gardens, a passion passed down to me from my grandmother.  But during Covid, I used that passion to bring nature and beauty to others through selling my home-grown flowers in the community and out of my flower bar.  A few friends asked me to do the flowers at their wedding, and things took off from there.  Over the years I’ve learned how much I LOVE helping couples through the wedding process!

So what started as a small backyard flower farm turned into a thriving wedding floral studio serving couples all over the DMV area.
 

As Barb’s Backyard Blooms has evolved over the years, the mission has stayed the same; to bring beauty to others through flowers.
